TBD had the pleasure of creating branding and website build for Mākoha Spa. Mākoha Spa specialises in Māori massage therapy called Mirimiri Massage used traditionally for healing and promoting optimum wellbeing. Mākoha massage is approved and endorsed by Massage Associations of New Zealand and Australia, and the Aotearoa Māori Advisory Board.
The brand needed to reflect the spiritual and earth centred values of the indigenous Mirimiri massage. These standards are also echoed within the seven essential oil blends which are a staple to the indigenous therapy techniques. The use of clean nature inspired imagery throughout the website helped further communicate the message of peace and wellbeing. We kept the website simple and easy to navigate and ensured there was a separate page that focused on the official educational training that is provided.
